Aarav has supported and sponsored an elementary girl child, Prachi Gautam's Education, Healthcare and Nutritional needs for the school year 2023-2024 from his work internship money. Prachi Gautam is a student at non-profit organization, Lotus Petal Charitable Foundation in India. Prachi is an underprivileged student, her father is an Auto Rickshaw driver and her mother is a housewife. They cannot afford her education. I contributed my internship money on her yearly education for the school year 2022-2023 & 2023-2024.
Aarav donated $200 yearly for sponsoring the girl child’s education, books, stationery, smart devices, uniform and meal from his Internship Paycheck. In India, girl child does not get the opportunity of education due to poverty and inequality. That’s why I supported a girl child education in Elementary school to become independent and get good education. Her name is Prachi Gautam, Grade 3rd . Her Father's occupation is Auto Driver and Mother is a housewife. Received quarterly academic report of the child. Aarav feel proud to impact and change the life of a girl child.
Aarav was involved and volunteered to teach coding at Lotus Petal charitable organization since freshman year of his high school. During Covid times, parents of the students he was teaching lost their jobs and couldn't afford to support their children for Education & Meal. After knowing their struggles and challenges during Pandemic times, Aarav decided to help the families who lost their jobs and cannot support their children's education and meals by donating money. These families needed financial support more than ever, hence he decided to help them and improve the future of these families.
According to Aarav, Education is a basic right for children everywhere and of vital importance for the development of a country. Education revolutionises a child’s whole life, bringing a permanent change to the child and their entire family. UN research shows that almost 18 million children in South Asia do not attend school. The biggest obstacle to education is poverty.
